Forset Group is awarded the most sustainable forest operating company in the world. Our business model meets the highest ESG standards. We use low-impact logging methodology in all our forest operations while maintaining a local production for optimizing local value. We utilize residual waste (tree cut-off) from our production to make biochar. We are currently extending our biomass-handling capacity by establishing an innovative full-scale biomass plant that creates additional carbon capture storage and local electricity, producing carbon credits and biochar. Any additional biochar will be utilized as fertilizer for a significant large reforestation project of natural tropical forest, also initiated by Forset Group.

We started these initiatives with the aim of becoming the leading sustainable forestry group with proprietary in-house forestry technologies and carbon credit competencies. This will create a real and sizeable investment platform for institutional investors in the sustainable tropical forestry business while at the same time securing a long-term and large-scale impact to fight climate changes, protect the existing biodiversity, and create long-term sustainable economic growth nationally for developing countries.
